The School of Business is thrilled to announce a philanthropic investment from accounting and consulting firm Moss Adams to support our Accounting Student Success Fund. In Memoriam: Michael R. Gaines 1934-2021

Dr. Michael R. Gaines, a long-time PSU School of Business faculty and chair of the Department of Accounting passed away August 5, 2021. He helped shape innovative business programs at PSU which fostered new roles for accountants. Professor Gaines' family has established the Michael R. Gaines Endowed Scholarship Fund to support undergraduate accounting students with an interest in innovation.

Cass Hausserman promoted to Associate Professor

Congratulations to Cass Hausserman, who was recently promoted to Associate Professor with tenure this Fall. Hausserman came to PSU in 2014 and has published articles on hot topics like the effects of revenge and rewards on tax whistleblowing and the role of guilt in tax amnesty and whistleblowing.
