Breaking into the Writers' Room

Writers' room positions are highly coveted and sought after by Emersonians, but there isn't one clear path to break in. Learn how Emerson alumni at various stages in their careers including writer-producer Hailey Chavez '15 (ACAPULCO, SUPERSTORE, GROWN-ISH), writer-producer Carlos Foglia '03 (WOLF PACK, LORE, THE OTHER HAMILTON) and showrunner's assistant Stefanie Mandel '17 (assistant to showrunner Courtney Lilly) got their breaks and have successfully navigated their careers. Moderated by Shana Lloyd, writer/actor/filmmaker, and ELA faculty member.
