UIT will consolidate several network-related Service Catalog request items into one form on June 19 |
On Thursday, June 19, 2025, UIT will consolidate several IT Service Catalog request items for network services into one form, “Network Request” (login required). The new catalog item will simplify the request process for network deployments and updates.
|
Currently, users must submit five or more individual requests to deploy or update a network. The Network Request form will enable users to select and/or update which services they need in the network deployment process — whether that’s all of them or only one. Additionally, the form allows users to submit multiple port activation or DHCP/IP assignment requests.
The following catalog items will be retired when the Network Request form launches:
|
- Change Domain IP
- DNS Modification Request
- IP Address Management
- IP Assignment Request
- Network Port Activation
|
The following catalog items will not be affected by the change at this time:
|
- Firewall Change
-
Request New Domain
- Remove Existing Domain
|
To access the form, visit the IT Service Catalog, select Infrastructure, then select Network Request. You can also search the catalog using the form name.
|
If you have questions, your local IT support staff may be able to assist, or you may contact your respective help desk: UIT Help Desk (801-581-4000) or ITS Service Desk (801-587-6000).
