Teachings and Practice on "Clouds of Heaps of Siddhis"
A Prayer to the Guru Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal
"When seen, you are attractive and youthful,
with a buddha's marks and signs.
When heard, there is complete liberation
through your limitless symbolic speeach.
When recollected, your enlightened mind
brings the bliss-emptiness of timeless awareness.
Queen of the Dakinis, Lady of Kharchen.
I prostrate and praise you!"
- by Guru Padmasambhava
Without understanding the nature of the Great Mother Prajnaparamita, there is no enlightenment. She gives birth to all realized beings as her children, and raises them to the state of full awakening.
The mother dakinis are the power that continues to bring forth enlightened beings. They appear in order to preserve the Buddhadharma and benefit all sentient beings. Wisdom dakinis are the driving force related to the four beneficial activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and liberating.
The wisdom dakini we call "Yeshe Tsogyal" is beyond all names, all categories, all fabrications, and all labels. Those are all mental limitations, and none of them—no conceptions, rules, or regulations—apply to the ultimate nature of the wisdom dakini. She has completely gone beyond all duality to the unborn and unceasing openness nature, which is beyond all conceptual states of mind. If we give a name to this ultimate wisdom dakini, she is known as Prajnaparamita, the "Mother of all the Buddhas." In Tibetan, she is called Yum Chenmo, or Buddha Kuntuzangmo, which is Buddha Samantabhadri in Sanskrit."
For Vajrayana practitioners, the wisdom dakini Yeshe Tsogyal is the kindest, most precious mother who awakens all of us to enlightenment.
