Be Part of ART Tank 2026!
Dear Stony Brook University Community,
It's time to submit your art for the third annual ART Tank! This year's competition will take place October 29, 2026 at the Wang Center.
ART Tank is a Campus Beautification Committee (CBC) sponsored competition among student artists at Stony Brook University who compete to show off their skills to a panel of professional judges and art enthusiasts. The winner will be given a $1,500 stipend and gain valuable feedback.
When you participate in ART Tank, you help shape a more vibrant, engaging, and welcoming Stony Brook campus while celebrating the important role the arts play across our university community. Share your creativity for an opportunity to have your artwork showcased across campus.
You don't have to be a trained artist to share your design ideas. Whatever your major, this is an opportunity to showcase your skills in whatever medium you want. Visit the ART Tank webpage to explore the competition success stories of your peers, whose works of art are now showcased as a lasting legacy throughout the Stony Brook community.
Submissions are due Thursday, September 25. Please fill out this form to apply.
You'll see there are five designated locations for you to choose from:
- The President's Office waiting room
- Javits Lecture Center
- HSC Student Life Center (on East Campus)
- Frey Hall - Digital Media
- HSC 2nd Floor Hallway
