It will be a wonderful time of worship as we listen to stories of how God has called the newest International Mission Board missionaries and hear a challenge from IMB President Paul Chitwood.

Week of Prayer for International Missions

Southern Baptists observe a Week of Prayer for International Missions each year before the annual Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® emphasis. Will you join your heart with others to pray for missionaries around the world who are faithfully sharing the gospel? Make plans now to attend Missions Get-Together on April 4-5, 2025, at Dickson First Baptist Church.  
Missions Get-Together is an annual event  for women 18 years of age and older. During this event, women will discover:

  • JOY considering new missions & ministry opportunities for you and your church!

    The event features three General Sessions, five Breakout Sessions - (plus two bonus breakouts on Friday morning), and a Missions & Ministry Fair with a WorldCrafts store and the annual Silent Auction!

Pray for Tennessee Missions and Ministries
Download the TBMB November 2024 monthly prayer calendar for TBMB ministries supported by gifts from Tennessee Baptists through the Golden Offering and Cooperative Program.
Recommendations for Tennessee WMU Officers & Executive Board Members

The Tennessee WMU 2025 Nominating Committee will be nominating persons to serve from 2025-2026, one-year terms as WMU president, three vice-presidents (one from each of the state’s grand regions), and recording secretary. In addition, they will nominate Executive Board Members (two WMU Representatives and one At-Large) to serve a four-year term from 2025-2029. Guidelines and a form are available here for Tennessee Baptists and Tennessee WMU members to make recommendations to the Nominating Committee to consider for Tennessee WMU Officers and Executive Board members.

Recommendations must be submitted by January 10, 2025.

Ministry Opportunities
  • The Tennessee WMU missionary house (Mary's House) and the Missions Mobilization Center house in Mount Juliet continue to be a hub of activity providing much needed rest for missionaries on stateside assignment. Recent activities have found us in need of gift cards used to stock pantry staples and other household items for missionaries. If your group would like to donate Kroger, Target, or Walmart gift cards for this ministry opportunity, please mail them to Tennessee WMU, PO Box 682789, Franklin, TN 37068.
