Clemson University has unveiled Deep Orange 16, a next-generation, semi-autonomous vehicle designed to transform emergency response in extreme conditions. Developed by graduate automotive engineering students in the Deep Orange program, the vehicle merges advanced technology with functionality to enhance rescue operations' speed, safety and efficiency.

Clemson University has appointed Ramesh Jeganathan chair of the Department of Food, Nutrition and Packaging Sciences. Coming to Clemson from Auburn University, Jeganathan brings more than 25 years of academic and leadership experience to the role.

The 2025 Pee Dee Research and Education Center (REC) Agronomic Field Day is set for Thursday, August 28. The event is an opportunity for growers, researchers and agricultural professionals looking to stay at the forefront of agronomic crop production in South Carolina to learn the latest research-based information.

More than 150 Clemson students spent their summer in the 10-week Summer Creative Inquiry + Undergraduate Research (CI) program. Students engaged in intensive, full-time research projects, weekly professional development seminars and social activities.
