I really love the Earth. I may be a bit biased since it’s the only planet I’ve ever called home. But, it’s the only one with Brevard and Transylvania County — so it definitely gets the edge. It’s fun to partake in earth-friendly activities in a place where the Earth is so darn beautiful. Whether it’s rainy, sunny, or something in between, the Land of Waterfalls is always stunning, always fun, and always worth protecting.

Bees buzz and birds soar in the Land of Waterfalls. Transylvania County is home to over 270 species of birds, with more than 60 residing here year-round. It’s also a sweet spot for honey lovers, offering tastings and apiary tours that showcase the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystem.
