Faculty Spotlight - Chris Dunnaville
Prior to joining the University of Portland, Chris Dunnaville was a Senior Executive, thirty-year Wall Street veteran and entrepreneur where he held numerous positions, including time spent as a National Training Officer with Smith Barney. There he trained over two thousand new financial advisors in an eighteen month time period.
Since joining the faculty of UP, Chris has developed PSOB's new course Smart Money. He also founded the new student Cash Flow Club - over 50 students have signed up to join. The club has been formed to promote Financial Literacy and Education on campus and will host a series of workshops during National Financial Literacy Month in April. The club is working on developing a student "Peer to Peer Financial Coaching" program.
Chris is currently developing a new 3-credit Personal Finance course for non-business school students to be offered Fall 2017. Chris gets our spotlight for the month! Be sure to give him a HIGH FIVE when you see him!

Social Venture Partners
PSOB is proud to announce its partnership with the non-profit Social Venture Partners (SVP). Our Westside campus located in Bethany Village will serve as a venue for their on-going Encore Fellows Program workshops. Encore Fellowships are structured programs that match skilled, experienced professionals at the end of their midlife careers with social purpose organizations, where they help nonprofits build capacity, grow strategically and, ultimately, have a broader impact on their communities. SVP was instrumental in helping find displaced Intel employees new opportunities in the region. The Portland Business Journal published the story on May 17, 2016. Read article here>>

Intel Latin Network
Intel's Latin Network (ILN) will be hosting their 2nd Annual Latin Tech Fest in conjunction with HispanicPros on January 28, 2017 at Intel's Jones Farm Conference Center.  Attendees are encouraged to bring resumes and seasoned professionals will have the opportunity to meet with hiring companies.
