Weekend events; Spring 2025 Ring Ceremony

Good morning! A host of events are planned for this weekend, including the semi-annual South Carolina Botanical Garden Plant Sale and the Spring Football Game. The University named its first-ever recreation manager for the Experimental Forest, the Spring 2025 Ring Ceremony is scheduled for Sunday and more.

The annual Spring Football Game takes place Saturday at 1 p.m. Admission to the game is free, with parking lots opening at 8 a.m.

The 10th annual Mile of Honor begins tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. The event includes a welcome address in the President’s Rotunda before ending at the Scroll of Honor next to Memorial Stadium. Registration for the event is free.

The Spring Plant Sale begins at 2 p.m. today for Friends of the Garden members and is open to the public tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sale features a wide variety of plants, from hard-to-find native species to seasonal annuals.

The women of TakeNote and the men of Tigeroar perform recent favorite hits and classics from a variety of genres and styles for a night of pop music at the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

The Spring 2025 Ring Ceremony is set for this Sunday, April 6 at Littlejohn Coliseum, with events beginning at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Rob Allen has been named the first-ever Recreation Manager for Clemson Experimental Forest. Allen will serve as a liaison between the University and the community, organize volunteer efforts, oversee safety training and work projects, and support faculty and student initiatives within the Forest.
