When I announced a new initiative in December called Peer Leadership, I did not know what to expect. We received responses from 12 individuals across all seven CPFM units. We met for the first time last month and began with a discussion of various leadership tools our supervisors are learning in our GiANT training. The 12 who met are:

Jude Hess
Bret Jensen
Dan Roll
Lauren Meyer

| Alorie Mayer
Damon Rutherford
Liz Thorstenson
Gabe Hein

This group will meet monthly with our directors and me to learn some leadership skills and to help us in our Quest for the Best. This effort will build on the work we did in 2019 and 2023 to make CPFM the best organization we can be. It is my hope that we can offer this annually to interested folks within CPFM.

Your workers are always so accommodating, professional and just great to work with. The two that were here today (Eric Foote and Adam Knight from Maintenance Support) are a perfect example. Thanks for all the support that your department provides!

Thank you for adding lights in the Romania Parking Lot!! I’ve never felt I needed to be accompanied by security to go to my car but I definitely never felt comfortable.
It is a nice addition and I love it!

Celebrate Completion of the East Campus Area Plan 2025 Update |
|
|
Updates to the East Campus Area Plan were completed in December of 2024 establishing the planning framework for future development for much of the university land east of Agate Street. This is a significant milestone considering the last update to the Plan was over 20 years ago. The 2024 Plan increases the opportunity to construct high-quality student housing and amenities in this area for undergraduates, graduates, and student-families. The Plan also creates and modifies designated open spaces to ensure a well-functioning and beautiful campus as development occurs. The Plan requires updates to the City's land use code which are currently underway and expected to be complete by 2026.
