Megan Monaghan, soprano, Kimberly Reighley, flute, Valentin Radu, piano
Our Season 36 comes to a fitting and fabulous conclusion with an exciting and diverse program of works by Mozart, featuring both choral and instrumental masterpieces. Solo concertos for flute and piano (with Maestro on St. Katharine’s magnificent Bösendorfer), the overture to the delightful opera Marriage of Figaro, and three exquisite sacred choral works from Mozart’s years in Salzburg (all three are firsts in our programming), written in the cheerful, bustling style typical of his church music from this period. A truly glorious finale to our Season 36!
