| | Federation's Afghan Resettlement Fund Federation and our United Jewish Endowment Fund are proudly working in partnership with Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSSNCA) to help hundreds of newly-arrived Afghan refugees resettle in the DC area. To date, we have raised more than $375,000 from passionate Jewish philanthropists to support the work of LSSNCA. The funds are already helping welcome our newest neighbors; connecting them with housing, employment, transportation, food, acculturation, and other support.
