Happy April!

The month has already been busy! Last weekend, two members represented Sauk County in their roles on state teams. Grace Carter serves on the WI 4-H Leadership Council, and Ruby Taggart serves on the Art Ambassador team. Both attended a Spring Planning weekend where they planned state-level 4-H activities for this summer. Thanks for serving in these roles!

Another event last weekend was the Sauk County 4-H Performance Art Festival. We had 46 performers amaze us with a variety of talent: pianos, trumpet, trombone, guitar, dancing, clogging, acting,singing, reading, and even a magic demonstration! It was such an impressive display of talent.

Levi McKichan, Mason Thering, and Zane Rodgers represented Sauk County at the Tri-County Shooting Sports Tournament in archery and literally hit the mark.  We are incredibly proud of their dedication and skill in representing Sauk County so well!

April 20th-26th is Natioanl Volunteer week, find a way to thank a volunteer in your life! 4-H Volunteers- be on the lookout for a special perk postcard coming your way soon

Tri County 4-H Camp, at Camp Lakotah near Wautoma will be on June 11-14th with youth from Columbia, Sauk, and Dodge Counties. Registration is now open. You are welcome to invite a non-4-H friend too!

Base Camp (3-6th): Traditional cabins, cafeteria meals.

Outpost Camp (7-8th): Rustic cabins, campfire cooking.

$250 per camper 
No registrations will be accepted past April 30th.
