Dear Traveler:

It’s getting hot out there, which means it’s high time to slide into a mountain stream and drift on down through the dog days. Here at The Adventurist HQ, we’re planning to spend as much of August floating, splashing, sliding and sunning as possible. But those aren’t the only ways to celebrate the steamy end of the season. Transylvania County has events to keep you occupied, art to get you inspired and great music to float to, whether or not you want to bother with inflating your inner tube. The fun is really heating up, so no need to play it cool. There’s plenty to pack in before September.

Catch you downstream,
