COVID-19 Business Impact Survey Now Available in Spanish

Business Oregon, Travel Oregon, and the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network have partnered to develop a survey to understand how COVID-19 is impacting businesses across the state. Information gathered from this survey will be vital for policymakers who are working to aid businesses during this crisis. Individual responses are completely confidential and will not be shared publicly; only aggregate information will be shared. 
The survey closes tonight, April 15 at 11:59 p.m. 
Business Oregon, Travel Oregon, y la Red del Centro de Desarrollo de Pequeñas Empresas de Oregón (Oregon Small Business Development Center Network, en inglés) se han asociado para desarrollar esta encuesta para comprender cómo COVID-19 está impactando en las empresas de todo el estado. La información recopilada a través de esta encuesta será vital para los responsables políticos que están trabajando para ayudar a las empresas durante esta crisis. Las respuestas individuales son completamente confidenciales y no serán compartidas públicamente; sólo se compartirá la información general.

The American Hotel & Lodging Foundation and the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation is offering complimentary access to several food safety and professional development online courses as well continuing education for hotel employees.

Last week, Travel Oregon convened nearly 80 members of the tourism industry for a 90-minute webinar focused on COVID-19 response for tour operators, guides and outfitters.

As the travel and tourism industry faces this challenging time, Oregonians and businesses across the state are coming together to find collaborative, compassionate and creative ways to support local communities during the COVID-19 crisis.  Each week, we’ll share a few stories of the strength and solidarity of the Oregon tourism industry. 
  • The northwest’s oldest and largest family-owned distillery, Hood River Distillery, has been making thousands of gallons of hand sanitizer and working with the Oregon Health Authority to distribute to healthcare and food service employees. Read more here
