A New Installation on Campus will Celebrate the History and the Accomplishments of Women from Georgia Tech
|
Celebrating Georgia Tech Women: Pathway of Progress is the new name of the forthcoming, permanent tribute to the impact of women from Georgia Tech, now under construction near the John Lewis Student Center and Stamps Commons. Set to open in Fall 2024, the physical installation and accompanying digital experience will celebrate 70 graduates, as well as 98 women and events with historical significance to the Institute.

Procurement and Business Services Wins Award of Excellence in Procurement
|
Georgia Tech has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious National Association of Education Procurement Award of Excellence in Procurement. This award was presented at the institutional level and recognizes the outstanding contributions made by the procurement department in alignment with the institution's overarching mission.

Through the Performance Management @Tech module, supervisors and employees have a streamlined and user-friendly interface to conduct each phase, fostering a more efficient and transparent performance assessment process.
The Annual Evaluations module is now active, and you can complete the 2023 annual evaluations for your direct reports through Friday, April 5.
The Annual Goal Setting Phase for 2024 is now live and ends Tuesday, April 30.

Summer Hiring Best Practice Sessions and Support Centers
|
These sessions provide HR practitioners, professionals, managers, and anyone involved in HR operations with the knowledge and skills needed to proficiently handle crucial HR transactions, particularly in support of our students.
|
The support centers (staffed by ASC employees from HR Support Services, Customer Service Excellence, and Operational Excellence, as well as the HR Student Employment team) are designed to provide live help for escalated issues around the hiring process.

Renew or Purchase Parking Permits for the 2024-25 Academic Year
|
Georgia Tech’s Parking and Transportation Services is pleased to announce the start of the renewal and permit purchase season for the upcoming 2024-25 academic year. Beginning April 1, members of the Georgia Tech community can renew their parking permits or make a new purchase of a permit in preparation for the upcoming academic year.

Georgia Tech is accelerating access to generative artificial intelligence (genAI) tools with the recent addition of the Microsoft Copilot Enterprise AI chat service. The Office of Information Technology (OIT) has also issued guidance for responsible adoption and use of genAI tools.
