New Format for NATA Foundation Grants
The NATA Foundation Research Committee approved changing the format for the General, Educational and New Investigator Grants. These new guidelines more closely align with the NIH R03 guidelines. The new format for submission will standardize the proposals that the committee receives and reviews.

Go4Ellis Expands in District Three
Go4Ellis, the NATA preferred provider making it easier to connect athletic trainers with per diem opportunities at youth sporting events, is now open in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Corrigan Sports was the first to post shifts with the Mason-Dixon Lacrosse Shootout Nov. 10-11 in Maryland and the Rumble In Richmond Nov. 3-4 in Virginia. PATS Accepting Abstracts for 2019 Symposium
This is the first call for abstract submissions for the Pennsylvania Athletic Trainers’ Society 2019 Annual Symposium May 30-June 1, 2019, at the Wyndham Gettysburg. All members from any clinical setting are encouraged to read the call for abstracts and the details of the different submission types. The selection committee is particularly looking for presentations that appeal to athletic trainers in all settings that are based on the most current research. If you are submitting an abstract for a previously approved EBP course, please attach a copy of your certificate with your submission. If you have an interest in making your presentation EBP course, make note of that when submitting your abstract. Submissions are due by Dec.1. Late submissions will not be accepted.
