Dear students,
As the quizzes start coming, I want to remind you to take advantage of the many resources on campus to help with academics, especially:
- Mrs. Kaelan Hsu, the Director of Academic Success, is a great person to see first if you're not sure what help you might need. She can provide resources for time management and prioritization, connect you with tutors or mentors, and generally point you in the right direction.
- Your professors! Please take advantage of your professors' office hours. Those hours are set aside specifically for meeting with you, so don't feel bad going to see them. They love getting to know you on an individual basis, and office hours are a great place for building those relationships and getting advice for each of your individual classes.
-
The Writing Center is another great resource. When paper season comes, bring your papers to fellow students working in the Writing Center in the evenings at the library for help with improving your papers on grammar, content, and Turabian!
I'd also like to highlight the link near the bottom of the email for "Current Student Resources." This takes you to a very useful page on the Christendom website where you will find links to many resources that you may need to access during your time as a student, such as transportation requests, faculty information, policies, and much more.
Finally, below you'll find a list of where some of the most important resources that you have available to you can be found on campus.
Have a great weekend!
God bless,
|
Mr. Tim Cook
Vice President for Student Life & Dean of Students

There is an RA on duty every night from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am. Please don't hesitate to call the RA on duty with any needs in the residence halls during that window; they'll most likely be able to help you more quickly even than your own RA, since they'll be in the halls throughout their shift. As a reminder, the RAOD numbers are:
-
Men's RA on Duty: (540) 305-9506
- Women's RA on Duty: (540) 305-7052
