Happy New Year!

Get to Know Anna!

Anna joined the TBMB team as a ministry assistant for TN WMU and Compassion Ministries in October. She earned a degree in Christian Studies from Union University in 2024 and is now pursuing an MDiv at SBTS. She is particularly interested in Baptist History. She does not have free time because she is a full-time employee and student, but if she did, you could find her holding babies, playing ultimate frisbee, and planning travel to NYC or Katowice!

Week of Prayer for North American Missions
Annie Armstrong Easter Offering
Southern Baptists observe a Week of Prayer for North American Missions each year before the annual Annie Armstrong Christmas Offering® emphasis. Will you join your heart with others to pray for missionaries who are faithfully sharing the gospel in North America? More information and resources can be found here

Standing orders for the Week of Prayer/Annie Armstrong Easter Offering promotion materials will begin shipping from the Tennessee WMU office in mid-January.

If you need to order promotion materials, we have a new website, www.tnwmuorder.org, where churches can place a standing order for free printed promotional materials (envelopes, posters, and prayer guides) for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions, and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. The website can be viewed and updated at any time, and churches can choose the shipping address for the material.

Please contact Anna Yadkowski or call 615-371-7908 if you have any questions.

Ministry Opportunities
  • Tennessee WMU is partnering with Baptist Collegiate Ministries to collect snack foods to help reach students. Click here for more information on locating and contacting your local BCM.
  • The Tennessee WMU missionary house (Mary's House) and the Missions Mobilization Center house in Mount Juliet continue to be a hub of activity providing much needed rest for missionaries on stateside assignment. Recent activities have found us in need of gift cards used to stock pantry staples and other household items for missionaries. If your group would like to donate Kroger, Target, or Walmart gift cards for this ministry opportunity, please mail them to Tennessee WMU, PO Box 682789, Franklin, TN 37068.
  • WMU’s Compassion Ministry of Pure Water, Pure Love provides vital water resources around the world. Your gift to Pure Water, Pure Love supports its three-fold mission: to supply missionaries with water filters, to provide the people they serve with clean water resources, and to supply missions teams with water filters for use on short-term mission trips.
