Submit Your Events: Master Calendar for ALL Walsh Happenings! |
Walsh University has launched a new events calendar that can be used as a universal resource to Cav Nation for internal meetings, club events, public gatherings, concerts, and other major university events. ANY member of Cav Nation organizing an event or meeting is encouraged to submit an event through the website. Please allow 24-48 hours for your event to be approved and posted to the calendar. For public events, please ensure you are following all of the event protocols and have the approval of your advisor (for students) or department Vice President (for staff) before moving forward with your submittal. We hope that this will serve as a convenient tool to give a bird’s eye view of all that is happening on our campus. For safety purposes we will not be including this link on our public facing website so please bookmark calendar.walsh.edu and use it often!

Save the Date: Community Freedom Summit, Sept. 28 |
Walsh University and Not For Sale: One Step At A Time are teaming up once again to host the annual Community Freedom Summit on Saturday, Sept. 28. This year’s summit will focus on Artificial Intelligence and its role in combating human trafficking, a significant concern in Ohio, a known hotspot for such crimes. Keynote speakers include Michael Wheeler, President, and Chief Legal Officer at Patriot Software, who will discuss AI's implications for tackling human trafficking. David Frattare, Task Force Commander of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, will delve into topics such as internet crimes and sextortion. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Cecchini Center and will feature a one-mile Freedom Walk. Join us as we unite to learn, reflect, and honor those affected by this heartbreaking reality. Last year, over 1,100 attendees, including students, faculty, staff, and community members, showed their support. Let’s work together to make this year’s summit even more impactful.
