The Fall semester is here. The Office of Human Resources has some helpful tips and reminders to prepare you for the academic year.

NEWS AND UPDATES

With an interest in human rights law, senior philosophy major Salma Solis spent her summer by interning at the South Carolina Supreme Court and taking classes in London on the Pre-Law Study Abroad trip.

The Modern Languages Department’s American Sign Language faculty are offering free sign language classes for all faculty and staff this fall. Each four-session course meets in-person every Friday from 8-9 a.m. Seating is limited and participants may register through Tiger Training.

Since arriving on main campus, new students have been busy with various events from Clemson's "Weeks of Welcome" programming slate, including Fall Convocation, the Welcome Back Festival, Tiger Prowl, Bid Day and more.

As part of the continued commitment to strengthen Clemson’s operational effectiveness and prepare for the future of higher education, the University is implementing organizational changes to better align its financial functions.

The next Staff Senate Blood Drive is scheduled for Wednesday, August 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Those interested in donating should schedule an appointment. Donors who give blood will receive a $40 gift card.
