We are delighted to bring you two outstanding and incredibly rare pieces by Italian couturier Emilio Schuberth. Arguably the premier post-war Italian fashion designer, his work rarely is seen and almost never offered for purchase.
This sapphire blue silk satin convertible dress includes a detachable cummerbund of ombre silk chiffon and detachable overskirt.
These pieces have been in a private Italian collection  for decades and come to the United States after having been displayed in numerous museum exhibitions in Europe. Most recently they were shown at the MAXXI MUSEUM in Rome, as featured costumes in their Italian Designer exhibition “Bellissima".
