| 25 Years: Israel-US Relations Since Rabin
American University’s School of International Service (SIS) and Center for Israel Studies (CIS)
In commemoration of the 25th anniversary of Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination, American University’s School of International Service (SIS) and the Center for Israel Studies (CIS) are hosting an enlightening panel discussion around Israel-US relations. Panelists will include Rabin's daughter, Dalia Rabin, Ambassador Itamar Rabinovich, and Ambassador Dennis Ross, all who knew Rabin well. These experts will focus on Rabin’s legacy in the context of US-Israel relations and discuss what those relations may look like after the US presidential election in November. SIS Professor Guy Ziv will moderate this event.

A presentation and discussion on new technologies and trends during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, hosted by the Maryland/Israel Development Center, The Embassy of Israel, Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc., and Whiteford Taylor & Preston. Israel and Maryland are global hotspots of cybersecurity development and, too often, targets of cybersecurity attacks. ALIVE! is hosting their Truck to Trunk event on Saturday, October 17 and is need of volunteers to help drive truck, translate, control traffic, and distribute food. Volunteers are needed at two locations, John Adams Elementary School and Cora Kelly Elementary School.
