Officer Training - Saturday, Dec 2All 4-H club officers elected for the 2023-2024 4-H year are invited and encouraged to participate in the annual club officer training. It will be held on Saturday, December 2. Check-in will be from 9:30-10:00. Workshop is scheduled 10 am - 12 pm at Extension Fond du Lac County. A free pizza lunch will follow the workshop!
Participants will learn the responsibilities of their officer positions, so all officers should attend. Officers will also meet other 4-H members from throughout the county, and this will give them a chance to exchange ideas and build new relationships. Youth do not have to be incoming club officers to attend the training. Spread the word and invite your friends! All participants must RSVP by Monday, November 27. If we don’t have a minimum of 20 youth signed up, we will cancel the event.

Family Learning Day PresentersFamily Learning Day allows 4-H members (grades 5K-12) and the community to learn a new skill or gain fresh ideas.
Please help make this day successful by volunteering to teach a session or two. If you need help with your session, invite another person to co-teach with you. The program is held at the UWO Fond du Lac campus. Sessions 1 and 5 are 60 minutes, Sessions 3 and 4 are 45 minutes and Session 2 is 90 minutes. Indicate the length and time of day that fits your needs. You may repeat your session if you wish.
Many of the sessions typically offered at Family Learning Day can be put into a project kit. If you are interested but cannot teach in person, please consider this option. All kits must include a written set of instructions. If possible, please include pictures of the steps along with the instructions. If you would like to offer a virtual session to teach or make an instructional video to be viewed while the youth completes the kit, you are welcome to do so, but it is not necessary.
Complete the form below by December 1. You will receive notice of the number of participants in your session approximately 2 weeks before the event. Fond du Lac County 4-H Adult Leaders Association will provide lunch for presenters who request it on this registration form.
Questions: Contact Extension Fond du Lac County at 920-929-3171.
