| Cloverbud Day Camp: Buzz, Flutter, CrawlYouth leaders, volunteers, 4-H Summer Intern and the 4-H Educator helped plan out the camp. The youth leaders led activities with the groups all day under the supervision of the volunteer leaders. The youth started the morning off by learning everyone's names with a couple of games. The participants were able to collect bugs and participate in a nature walk with a scavenger hunt. After the nature walk, campers built their own bugs. Lunch followed the busy morning. After lunch, the group played some active games, such as Dead Ant Tag and Wah Master. The youth had a visit from the Wisconsin Honeybee Queen, Sadie. Sadie shared lots of information about honeybees and honey. After Sadie shared some information, the campers participated in a yogurt parfait-making activity, which included honey. The campers had so many questions for Sadie! The campers finished the day by building butterflies and making dirt cups and ants on a log snacks.

Hattie was kind and built positive relationships with her peers and adult volunteers. Hattie took leadership in helping others, discovered new skills, and jumped in to leave the space cleaner than she found it! Congratulations! Also special thanks to youth leaders Hannah and Bella! We are still looking for youth leaders for STEM, Art, Cardboard, and LEGO camps!
