Dear Colleagues,
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work at Georgia Tech and lead Administration and Finance (A&F). We have exceptional professionals working throughout the Institute who are making a difference and moving our campus forward.
This month, we kicked off our Everyday Excellence Recognition Program as a way to celebrate our A&F employees who are making exceptional efforts every day to serve our campus community. Our first cohort of honorees are outstanding examples of what it means to approach each day with a commitment to service excellence. Thank you Clyde, Reshetta, and Drew!
Wishing each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving!

On Friday, the A&F Staff Culture Advisory Council hosted A&F Amplified, a celebration of the strength and resilience of A&F staff.
We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this in-person event a success — from the Council members who organized it, to Tricia Chastain, executive vice president for A&F, for her inspiring opening remarks; Sonia Alvarez-Robinson, associate vice president of Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness, for her thoughtful keynote presentation; and leaders from the A&F units who shared how they cultivate resilience within their teams.
As part of the ongoing A&F Amplified series, the Council will continue to spark meaningful dialogue, foster collaboration, and celebrate the people and initiatives that help shape a strong, healthy workplace culture at Georgia Tech. More opportunities to connect and share are on the way!
