This month's Infinity Project participant is Heikura L., a teen who plans to hide a Planet on Rapa Nui, aka Easter Island. She wrote:
"Rapa Nui is my homeland, my roots, and a place filled with adventure, joy, and deep cultural meaning. Glass art like this has never been seen there before. Hiding a Planet on the island would be a first, a quiet gift left for discovery. There is also something poetic about the name “Easter Island.” Like an Easter egg hunt, the Planet will become a treasure waiting to be found! It will be an unexpected moment of wonder in a place already rich with mystery. To me, it feels like a bridge between worlds: contemporary glass art meets ancient land, curiosity meets tradition."
Below: Thanks to Sara C., for the the beautiful photos she sent us of hiding a Planet in a reef in Natewa Bay, Fiji.
