2018-2019 Graduate Assistantships
We're reaching out to our current MPA students to see if any of you are interested in being a Graduate Assistant for the 2018-2019 academic year.
Graduate Assistants (GA) receive tuition remission for three (3) courses, the opportunity to work on career building projects with faculty members, and earn a small monthly stipend.
Graduate Assistantship contracts run for nine months (August 20 - May 10), and require that the GA enroll in three courses (9 credit hours) and work in the Department of Public Administration for 20 hours per week. We work with GAs to ensure that their pursuit of an MPA is the top priority, so we have a degree of scheduling flexibility as long as the workload is met.
If you're interested in this opportunity, please submit your resume to Dr. Rodney Stanley, Department Chair, at
RStanley1@TNState.edu and the Graduate Assistantship application form (
link). All applications
must be submitted no later than the end of the business day on Friday, August 10, 2018.
