The Office of Community Engagement wishes you a happy holiday season and a prosperous new year! As we reflect on 2019, we see that our work has touched hundreds of people interested in learning more about Montgomery College, we have built relationships with community partners, and we helped people make their move to post-secondary education! We look forward to working together in the new year to help our students achieve their goals and enrich our community.

Child Development Graduation Celebration: Students at the East County Engagement Center Complete the 90-Hour Child Development Class

The most moving moment during this ceremony was when the students gathered around to honor their professor, Dr. Kathleen Carey-Fletcher. All of the students mentioned that Dr. Carey-Fletcher went above and beyond to ensure they had the utmost support to complete this course. Throughout the celebration, words like "very helpful, very kind, caring teacher, motivational" filled the room as students spoke to and of Dr. Carey-Fletcher. Read more.
