BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

BOYS CC AT DISTRICT SATURDAY

STATE BERTHS ON THE LINE

The Comets begin their run to state next week at the District Championships at VOA Park. Mason boys are the defending District champion and have won 12 consecutive titles.

Teams will place themselves in either Race A or B, determined by seed placement. In Race A, 15 Teams, the top four (4) finishing teams will move to Regional Competition, and the top finishing team will be declared District Champion, and the next finishing team will be declared District Runner-up. Individuals that finish in the top sixteen (16) qualify to Regionals. In Race B, 15 Teams, the top four (4) finishing teams move on to Regional competition and the top finisher will be the District Champion while the next finisher will be District Runner-up. The top sixteen (16) individuals will move on to Regionals.

Mason Girls CC competes at the OHSAA District Meet back at VOA on Saturday, Oct. 24th. Mason is the defending District Champion and has won the title 11 out of the past 12 years.

BOYS GOLF COMPETES FOR STATE TITLE TODAY

FRIDAY/SATURDAY IN COLUMBUS!

The boys now join the Comet girls team at the OHSAA State Championships at The Ohio State University Scarlet GC on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23-24. This will be Mason boy's third trip to state in the past four years.

GIRLS GOLF

GIRLS GOLF VYES FOR STATE TODAY IN COLUMBUS!

The State Tournament will be at the Ohio State University Gray Course, on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23-24. This is the third consecutive season the girls have qualified for State. The Comets earned state girls golf titles in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

BOYS SOCCER

BOYS SOCCER SHUTS OUT MIDDIES TO ADVANCE

SECTIONAL FINAL NEXT MONDAY VS. COLERAIN

Mason boys soccer got their postseason underway on Thursday night with a 5-0 shutout of visiting Middletown. No other details are available. The undefeated Comets handled the Middies to move on in the OHSAA Sectional.

Mason (14-0-1) will meet Colerain in the Sectional Final on Monday, Oct. 26th, at 7:00 pm at Lakota West. The Cardinals defeated Turpin 3-2 on Thursday to move on in the tourney. Mason defeated Colerain 3-0 a couple of weeks ago to win the GMC. Monday's winner will advance to the District Final on Thursday, Oct. 29th vs. either Dayton Carroll or Miamisburg at a place to be determined.

GIRLS SOCCER

GIRLS SOCCER BEGINS POSTSEASON SATURDAY

COMETS HOST FAIRFIELD

The Comet girls earned the #3 seed in the upcoming postseason draw. The Comets earned a 1st round bye and will play Fairfield at home on Saturday, Oct. 24th at 7;00 pm. The winner advances to the Sectional Final on Oct. 27th vs. either Lakota East or Ursuline Academy at West.

GIRLS TENNIS

GIRLS TENNIS 2020 SEASON CULMINATES AT

STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS WEEKEND

Mason Tennis will compete for individual and team State Championships this coming weekend.

The doubles team of Anna Kruse and Raina Chada along with singles player Shyla Aggarwal have earned state berths. The OHSAA Individual State Championships are slated for Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23-24 at the Linder Family Tennis Center in Mason (ATP).

Mason Girls Tennis punched their ticket to the OTCA State Team Final Four on Sunday, Oct. 25th at Reynoldsburg High School. The Comets are the three-time defending State Champion and will seek to add an unprecedented fourth title.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL ON TO THE POSTSEASON

COMETS PLAY MILFORD SATURDAY

Mason VB is the #7 seed in the upcoming Sectional. They have a 1st round bye and will play Milford at Lakota West on Saturday, Oct. 24th at 3:00 pm. The winner advances to the Sectional Final vs. either St. Ursula or Colerain on Tuesday, Oct. 27th, 6:00 pm at Lakota West.
