Three world records and counting

A Creighton alum and Denver high school teacher recently broke his third Guinness World Record, deadlifting his own weight 70 times without stopping, for a combined lift of 13,000 pounds. The trick, he says, was “to get as many reps in as I could before my body realized what was happening.” His previous two records — one he broke while wearing high heels — still stand. He plans to break his fourth record early next year. Read more.

Cheer on the Bluejays this Thursday

The No. 6 seed Creighton Bluejays defeated the No. 1 seed Georgetown Hoyas, 3-0, to claim their first-ever BIG EAST Tournament Championship! Now, Creighton will host Missouri State at 4 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, at Morrison Stadium. Tickets are on sale now! Reserved seats are $10 and general admission tickets are $9.
