There are plenty of resources and support available to help you succeed, and we’re cheering you on every step of the way. We can’t wait to celebrate all you’ve accomplished this semester.
In this issue, you’ll find helpful tools for studying, upcoming events to enjoy, and ideas for making the most of your WashU experience as we wrap up the term.

Relieve some final exams stress with a variety of fun fidget toys; meanwhile, explore some of the assistive technology tools available at WashU that are designed to support the diverse learning needs of disabled or neurodivergent students.

Kick off the holiday season in the Loop! Begin with Pics with Pups at the Moonrise Hotel from 12-4 p.m., taste some sweet treats during the Holiday Cookie Crawl from 12-5 p.m., and wrap up the day at the Fitz's Tree Lighting at 6 p.m. Check in at all Cookie Crawl locations for a chance to win a gift card to a Delmar Loop business!

|
Take a break from studying and join Dining Services for a wickedly good time at this fall’s Moonlight Breakfast. Enjoy a late-night breakfast, great music, and good vibes before wrapping up the semester. Moonlight Breakfast is free for WashU undergraduate students with a meal plan—just bring your WashU ID!

| Department debrief: Residential Life |
|
|
Be sure to follow the instructions from Residential Life based on your Winter Break plans. Additional details can be found on the Academic Break Housing Information page. All forms referenced below are available via the WashU Housing Portal. Registration for winter break opens December 1.
Staying for the entire Winter Break: You must complete the Winter Housing Form to maintain access to residential facilities. You will check the box to stay for the entire break once you are inside the form.
Leaving for the entire Winter Break but returning in the spring semester: Complete the Winter Checklist before leaving campus. Take your key card so you can return to your room in the spring semester. You may leave your belongings in your room.
Staying for a portion and leaving for the remainder of Winter Break but returning in the spring semester: Complete the Winter Housing Form and the Winter Checklist before leaving campus. Take your key card so you can return to your room in the spring semester. You will select a specific departure date once you are inside the form. You may leave your belongings in your room.
Leaving the university permanently or not returning to ResLife Housing in the spring semester: Complete the checklist items contained on the Check-Out Form via the WashU Housing Portal. You will need to remove your belongings from and clean your room.

| Schedule rapid access counseling |
|
|
Students can now schedule Rapid Access Counseling Zoom Appointments with a Center for Counseling & Psychological Services counselor for new and returning appointments.
Appointments can be scheduled 16 hours prior to the time you would like to be seen. For example, a student wishing to meet with a therapist at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, will be able to use the portal beginning at 4 p.m. on Monday, November 24 to schedule that appointment.
Standard scheduling will resume on Thursday, December 18.

Let’s Talk is an outreach program that provides students with easy access to free, brief confidential consultations with the Center for Counseling & Psychological Services' counselors.

Enroll in GENST 2421: Career Exploration at WashU: Understand Yourself & Envision Possibilities, a one-unit, seven-week pass/no pass course designed to help you understand your interests, values, and strengths as they relate to your studies, college experiences, and the world of work beyond.
You’ll use resources at the CCE, read and reflect on writings by thought leaders, and learn how to do informational interviews and research occupations online with support from career coaches. This course is fantastic for sophomores, but open to undergrads from all schools. Register on Workday.
