Several research teams have joined the National Science Foundation (NSF) I-Corps Regional Cohort at Clemson University this spring. The program helps researchers identify pathways to commercialize their products and innovations, which have applications in health care, manufacturing, emergency response, smart mobility and workforce training.

With a deep love of reading, writing and creativity, Clemson social media strategist Nicole Day ’17 changed her major to communication as a sophomore at Clemson as she sought opportunities to explore and strengthen those passions. A key part of her Clemson Experience was joining the department’s inaugural study abroad program in Germany, a trip that has served her well as a communications and marketing professional and broadened her perspective outside the classroom.
