Experience Summer Adventures!
What are your plans for this summer? Are you planning to visit some new places?
Explore another world! Visit places you never imagined visiting! Do it through reading! With traditional hard copy books or books on your electronic device, it doesn’t matter, do the reading and explore your favorite places.
Youth in grades 1-8 are invited to participate in the Summer Reading Challenge and win a prize at the Dodge County Fair. All you need to do is record the books you read throughout the summer on a Summer Reading Challenge form. The Summer Reading Challenge form is available on the Dodge County 4-H website under Dodge County Junior Fair section and at the links below.
Bring your record sheets to the Youth Building Office at the Dodge County Fair August 16-20, 2023. Read 5, 10, 15 books or more; everybody wins! Youth who read at least 15 books receive a coupon for a free malt at the fair. Those reading more books; receive a bigger prize! Limit 1 per person.
The 2023 Summer Reading Challenge is sponsored by the UW Extension – Dodge County, Dodge County 4-H Leaders Association, Dodge County Dairy Promotion Committee, Dodge County Farm Bureau and other area businesses.
We look forward to seeing all of you with your completed reading sheets at the Fair!
