Dear Friend,
After much discernment, discussion and prayer, and taking your important input into account, we have decided the best option for Transforming Community #16 is to reschedule our next retreat. We believe this gives TC16 the best way forward to keep everyone safe and to see the Illinois travel guidelines to a point where more of us could gather in St. Charles.
Please save November 17 on your calendar as we will gather via Zoom again to provide time for our community to stay connected. Many of you expressed in your survey a desire for some content review so we will plan the Zoom call around that objective.
There will be more details to come. If there is content from retreats #1-5 that you have questions about, this is your time to ask. Just reply to this email by October 15 and Ruth will shape our time to touch on as many questions as we can in our time together. We'll also have time to gather in small groups as we did during the last call.
Our next in-person retreat is scheduled for January 25-27, 2021 which will put us back on schedule for retreat #6, Transformation Through Self-Knowledge, Self-Examination and Confession. Don't forget that this retreat goes until 4:00 p.m. and it is important that we all stay until the end.
We miss you all more than you know! And we have experienced the same tension between sadness and relief that you are probably feeling right now. We are trusting God to hold us all until we meet again in January.
