MLK, Jr. Luncheon - Baylor University and the City of Waco joined together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a week of MLK Observance events, culminating in the Department of Multicultural Affairs’ annual MLK Luncheon. The luncheon offered a meaningful space for reflection, dialogue, and community. Keynote speaker Councilwoman Andrea Jackson Barefield shared powerful insights on leadership, service, and our shared responsibility to uplift our communities, reminding attendees that Dr. King’s legacy is lived out through action. The event fostered connection and renewed commitment to justice, equity, and unity. We look forward to continuing this momentum during Black History Month.

What are you looking forward to most about working at Baylor? “What I enjoy most about working at Baylor is being able to meet students from all over the world.
