The spring semester is moving along quickly as we are almost a third of the way through it! Send positive thoughts and words of encouragement as your student digs into courses and other commitments. Please also remind them to take care of themselves, including eating healthy, staying hydrated, exercising, and getting sleep!

On-Campus Housing for Rising Juniors and Seniors |
Housing available for rising juniors and seniors for 2023-2024!
If your student is interested in living on campus next year, current second year and older students are able to log in to the housing portal to view available spaces and complete room selection for next year. There's no lottery process for rising third and fourth year students - they will be able to complete their application and select a room all at the same time! This is a great option for students who will be away from campus for one semester for study abroad or graduating early and who don't want to sign a full year lease off-campus.

Spring Break Details From Campus Services |
Airport Shuttles - Spring Break
Shuttles to the Cincinnati (CVG) Airport are available on Friday, March 17, with multiple returns to campus on Sunday, March 26. Your student can ride on a professional luxury coach to/from the airport for only $40 each way! More details can be found here!
Spring Break Housing
Residence halls close and card access ends on Friday, March 17 at 7 p.m, which allows our student RA staff to have a spring break as well. If students need to stay in their room after 7 p.m. on March 17, they must submit a housing request online. After submitting a request, they will be notified by email when their request is approved, and card access will be extended based on their approved dates.
Students will be billed their daily cohort rate for each night they remain in campus housing during spring break. The charge for Friday, March 17 is waived for students who sign up prior to Wednesday, March 15 at 11:59 p.m. Your student will be billed at sign-up but a credit will be issued to their account before spring break begins. The normal daily break housing rates will apply for students who sign up for Friday after the deadline. There are no housing charges for Heritage Commons residents during spring break. Students who access their room without signing up will be billed at a rate of $55 per day.
Spring Break Parking Guide
Students with yellow Miami parking permits may leave their cars in the student parking lots over spring break. Students with yellow Miami parking permits who are staying on campus may park in red-permitted areas (outside of their dorms and other campus buildings) throughout the week of spring break.
All students are eligible to purchase four one-week permits to park in the Millett residential parking lot. So if a student who has not had a car on campus this semester were to wish to have one for the end of the semester, they could purchase four one-week temporary permits to cover the four weeks from April 9 to finals week. (They should not bring a car to campus immediately following spring break because that would be seven weeks to the end of the semester and they may only purchase four weeks of temporary parking.)
