On-Campus Worship Registration

Registration for St. Luke’s 11:15 a.m., combined on-campus worship service in the Sanctuary will open on Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. EST each week.St. Luke’s will continue to offer a live online worship service at 9:30 a.m. EST each Sunday. If you feel sick, or if you are in a high-risk health group, please do not visit St. Luke’s campus. Please monitor yourself closely for symptoms of COVID-19 to keep your neighbors safe. A completed Health Declaration Form is required upon arrival to St. Luke’s campus or prior to participation in St. Luke’s in-person ministries on or off-campus (the date and time of your submission are automatically recorded). A link to this form will be included in your registration confirmation email.

Care Visitation Team: Let us know if you or someone in your family has an upcoming surgery. Mark your online Connection Card or contact the Care Office at 407.876.4992 ext. 262, so a Visitation Team member can call and pray with you while hospitalized. Know a St. Luker who needs help staying connected? Contact the Care Office; a Visitation Team member can check in with them.

11:00 a.m.: Book Study on The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown via Zoom. The Gifts of Imperfection is a motivational and inspiring guide to wholehearted living. With this groundbreaking work Brené Brown, Ph.D., bolsters the self-esteem and person development process through her characteristic heartfelt, honest storytelling. With original research and plenty of encouragement, she explores the psychology of releasing our definitions of an "imperfect" like and embracing living authentically. 8:30 p.m.: Pints & Parables, a weekly online community, meets on Zoom Thursdays at 8:30 p.m. for open discussion on matters of life in our world today, faith, philosophy, theology, and more. Life Together Groups
Life Together is an online experience where people can find community, friendship, and spiritual growth. Online Zoom gatherings will be 60 minutes or less and provide an opportunity for discussion, prayer requests, resource sharing, and more. These groups are fluid so login when you can and don’t worry if you miss a day.

The United Methodist Women are looking forward to sponsoring a “Festival of the Trees & More” on Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. outside the UMW Gift Shop Annex (previously the Shepherd’s Hope House, behind Building C, down the gravel road).

Surviving the HolidaysAre you grieving a loved one’s death or know someone who is? The holiday season can be especially painful and sad even more so during this unique time of COVID-19. St. Luke’s is offering a free virtual program called GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays on Sunday, November 15 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Zoom. The program is open to anyone who has suffered a loss and finds it difficult to get through the holidays no matter how long ago your loved one passed. Participants will learn:
- How to deal with emotions
- What to do about traditions
- Helpful tips for surviving social events
- How to find hope for the future
This virtual program is free but we request that you register online to receive Zoom login information and to ensure we have enough participant workbooks to provide to all attendees beforehand. FREE Family-Friendly Outdoor Event!Bring your blankets and chairs to St. Luke’s campus for a fun, FREE family-friendly tailgate concert, featuring the Leonard Brothers Band on Sunday, November 15 at 6:00 p.m.! Listen to the band, a favorite among St. Lukers, from the comfort of your car, and enjoy a night of fun together. The concert will be in the St. Luke’s Parking Lot, and CDC guidelines for social distancing and safety will be in place.

Caring for a spouse, parent, or child with a long-term illness, special needs or age-related issues brings stress and unforeseen challenges to our lives. St. Luke’s invites you to attend a safe space for you to share your concerns, challenges, and blessings with others who are experiencing similar situations. Take a small break from your grueling routine on Sunday, December 6 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and join Pastor David Stephens and Care Ministry lay leaders online for candid conversations where you can share your struggles and blessings when caring for a loved one. Volunteers needed forthe TwELF Days of Christmas
A Free Drive-Thru ExperienceDecember 11-13
and
December 18-20
6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
St. Luke’s is teaming up with local entertainment company, We Bring The Funny, to produce a special free Christmas drive-thru experience for the Central Florida community!
Volunteer "Elves" are needed to encourage guests to continue their journey along the drive-thru course, and serve as ushers (scanning tickets, handing out booklets, etc.), or explain the story of the event to guests. Groups are encouraged to sign up together.
The TwELF Days of Christmas is a contactless, socially distanced event, allowing visitors to stay in their vehicle as they drive alongside North Pole Elves on a journey to create the greatest gift for Orlando. Featuring the perfect mix of traditional Christmas themes, extraordinary holiday lights, live music, and comedic vignettes brought to life by local actors, this free event is a gift to the community that aims to fill the hearts of all who experience it with the love, light, and life that is Christmas.
While this event is free, tickets are required to help manage capacity. Reserve tickets per car and print or show your confirmation email once you arrive on site.

St. Luke’s United Methodist Women’s Gift Shop is now open at the Annex (previously the Shepherd’s Hope House) The Gift Shop is taking the place of the annual UMW Bazaar/Marketplace this year due to COVID-19 precautions around large group gatherings.
