The International Student Hub (I-Hub) is a centralized, coordinated, and comprehensive center for NYU’s international student community. A collaboration between the Office of Global Services (OGS) and the Center for Student Life (CSL), I-Hub is dedicated to not only support international students at NYU, but also to provide resources and expertise to create academic, co-curricular, and social opportunities for sustained, cross-cultural learning.

International Spouses/Partners English Language Program (ISEP) Application Deadline Extended! Sponsored jointly by the OGS and NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, ISEP provides non-credit English instruction for the spouses and partners of NYU’s international students and scholars. The classes, taught by graduate students from Steinhardt, focus on conversational English and American culture, and are offered in 12-week sessions during the fall and spring semesters. The cost is $105 per semester. Classes will take place remotely online via Zoom sessions. Learn more and apply!

Global Social
The International Student Hub, Office of Global Programs, and the International Student Council presents a Welcome Back Event! We are welcoming students who are returning from studying away and international students returning to New York. This event will serve as a meet and greet for students and a fun way to kick off your semester in New York. There will be raffles, photo-booths, snacks and more!

Off-Campus Employment For F-1 StudentsThursday, September 14th | 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM ET
Are you an F-1 international student at NYU who’s interested in working/interning off-campus, but not sure what your next step should be? Chances are you’ll need work authorization in order to maintain your F-1 status. This workshop covers what you need to know about your off-campus employment options: an overview of different types of work authorization (namely CPT and OPT), what to consider when choosing the option that fits for you, and how to get through the application process. We’ll also briefly cover employment-related topics like social security, tax, health insurance, and extensions.

Writing PartnersThe Writing Partners Program is designed for undergraduate multilingual writers who are eager to engage in a long-term process of improving their writing in English. As a participant in the program, you will be paired with a dedicated peer tutor, who will collaborate actively with you during weekly 45-minute conferences as you draft and revise your writing.
