"Friend of a Friend" is a heartwarming film about how we can connect with others in our community to create intergenerational and lifelong bonds. Crafted by ILR students, veterans, and dedicated community members under the direction of ILR instructor Samuel Van Vleet, it premiered last November at a public showing in Oxford. If you missed it, or want to revisit it, you're in luck. AARP has picked it up and will be screening "Friend of a Friend" this Thursday, August 15, at 8:00 p.m., as part of their Movies for Grownups Short Film Night!
