"Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened!" - Dr. Seuss
What a SHOW! We are so very proud of our 56 Seussical JR. thespians and stage crew for presenting such a magical and joyful musical production-- with four SOLD OUT performances. How "fantastical!"
SPECIAL THANKS to Director Dawn Childs, Associate Directors Julia Bryan-Diehl and Wells Bridgforth, and to ALL the faculty, parent, and alumni volunteers who shared their gifts of time, talent, and creativity to bring the set, costumes, sound, and playbill to life. Applause, applause!
Be sure to check out St M's Media Galley for photo highlights!

Faculty UpdateWe are writing with some important faculty news. Margaret Ann Hazelton has recently informed us that she has accepted a new position for next year and will be leaving St. Michael's at the end of this school year. Ms. Hazelton deeply values how much she has learned and grown from working with our talented Middle School faculty, as well as the relationships she has built with her colleagues and her students over the last several years.
Highlights of Ms. Hazelton’s time at St. Michael’s include her close collaboration with her English and Social Studies colleagues, creation of an inviting Harry Potter-themed classroom, and meaningful and constructive one-on-one discussions with her students in her Writer’s Workshop. In helping her students grow as readers and writers, she also skillfully provided opportunities for all types of learners to participate in high-order thinking and questioning.
Ms. Hazelton is so grateful for the time she has spent at St. Michael's and she will dearly miss her students and our St M families. Please join us in both expressing our appreciation and fond wishes to Ms. Hazelton. As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
