Clemson has developed a newly released Foreign Talent Recruitment Programs (FTRP) Policy in accordance with the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, federal and state regulations, as well as University policy. This policy applies to University research personnel, which includes employees, student workers, contractors and affiliates.

Due to Smartsheet’s inability to support accessibility as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Clemson University will no longer permit license purchases or renewals of Smartsheet. Sunsetting Smartsheet places Clemson on a path towards federal compliance with Title II of the ADA.

Heads Up: August insurance deductions for 9-month faculty |
Nine-month faculty enrolled in state insurance coverage through PEBA experience no interruption in coverage during the summer months as Clemson deducts insurance premiums before and after the summer period. Faculty members leaving employment at Clemson or transferring to another state agency before August 30 should notify their HR Service Member or Ask-HR to ensure premiums are handled appropriately.
