Today's Fiercely Forward Friday spotlight: Trudy Mackay, whose leadership in genetics research makes Clemson a global hub for understanding life’s complexity. From fruit-fly models to precision medicine, her lab has earned some of the highest honors in science. Her role as director of the Center for Human Genetics, numerous international recognitions and dedication to translational science reflect Clemson’s investment in people in our state and beyond.

The undefeated 10-0 Clemson Volleyball team hosts Norfolk State and Charleston Southern as part of its Big Orange Bash today. The Tigers' matchup against Norfolk State starts at 11 a.m. before facing Charleston Southern tonight at 7 p.m.
