- Thursday, November 2, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Location: Perkinson Arts Center
It's time for the annual St M K-8 Book Fair! Check out great new titles from local bookstore bbgb just in time for Christmas shopping, and enjoy some yummy treats from Mister Softee RVA at the Ice Cream party on Thursday, November 2, from 3-6 p.m.
All students will get a chance to visit the Book Fair during school hours, make a wish list, purchase books or Teacher Wish List donations, and check out the fabulous Book Fair Raffle Baskets. Each raffle basket is filled with awesome books from bbgb, Legos, a giant Hershey bar, plush toys, and more! STM students will receive one raffle ticket just for attending the Book Fair, and additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $1.00 (CASH ONLY) or obtained through the purchase of a book from the Teacher Wishlist.
Here's important and helpful Book Fair information: If your child would like to purchase books during their class visit, please remember to send them with CASH (in a ziploc bag, to hold change), a blank check (with a note indicating the maximum they can spend), or a credit card (also with a note indicating a spending maximum).
If you are sending your child with a check, please make sure it is signed and made out to "bbgb". If you are sending your child with a credit/debit card, please make sure they are aware of any necessary PIN.
There will be a 'Teacher Wish List' board at the Book Fair with lists of books to purchase for our STM teachers.
If you do not want to send your child with cash, a check, or card, they can also fill out a "Wish List" during their class list and buy books at the Ice Cream party or bbgb online.
Parents are also welcome to come to the Book Fair with their children during their class visit, after afternoon carpool, or at extended day pick up. If you are coming after carpool, please pick up your child and then park to attend.
15% of all Book Fair sales come back to the SMPA to help support our Dragon community!
