Clemson will conduct an E-Learning Day continuity exercise next Monday, November 3. This exercise will occur at all teaching site locations across the state. On this day, while physical instructional site locations will not close, all face-to-face instruction should be moved to an online modality.

After a competitive internal search, Vivek Sharma, an associate professor in the Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development, has been elected as the new Associate Dean of Student Excellence for the College of Architecture, Art and Construction.

For its second installment of The Power of Leadership: A Signature Speaker Series, the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business recently hosted Kristi Coleman ’06, M ’07, CEO of Tepper Sports & Entertainment and president of the Carolina Panthers. Coleman shared lessons about data in decision-making, the role of kindness in leadership, hard work and more.

Director of Athletics Graham Neff will join a panel hosted by the Snow Institute for the Study of Capitalism and sponsored by the John W. Pope Foundation to explore what the future may hold for collegiate athletics. The event will be held today at 5 p.m. in Tillman Hall's Memorial Auditorium.

Learn how Clemson is moving research results to practice at the NSF STRIDE Accelerating Research Translation (ART) Academy pitch competition Wednesday, November 5 from 2-5 p.m. at the Barnes Center. Learn more about STRIDE and NSF ART STRP grant solicitation, where four faculty members will be awarded $100,000 (each team) over two years to advance their research, moving it closer to market (registration link).

Since 2021, Clemson’s REDDI Lab has provided more than 1.5 million state-funded COVID-19 tests at no cost. With the conclusion of that funding, the lab will transition to a fee-based model to continue offering affordable testing. Faculty and staff seeking COVID-19 tests should contact their primary care provider or schedule an appointment with the Sullivan Center.
