Good morning! The University is closed tomorrow for Election Day. A week remains to complete Annual Required Training modules; Volleyball hosts faculty and staff appreciation night on Friday. 

• There is only one week left to complete the Information Security Awareness and Conflict of Interest modules through Workday Learning. Faculty and staff must complete both required trainings by November 10. Those with outstanding training after the deadline will be denied access to their Clemson University accounts.

• • Submit questions through the “I have a training question” form in ServiceNow.

• Clemson earned the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge seal for a well-established action plan for the 2026 election cycle. The designation recognizes universities committed to developing a nonpartisan civic engagement plan.

• Thao Tran Dominy received the 2027 American Chemical Society’s Harry Gray Award for Creative Work in Inorganic Chemistry by a Young Investigator. The award recognizes creative and impactful bodies of research. 

• Faculty members John Whitcomb, Bob Sinclair and Stella Lartey each received national honors from professional organizations in recognition of their exemplary leadership and career-long commitment to advancing scholarship and strengthening practice.
