NAITA, the Madison County Commission, and Presenting Sponsor Port of Huntsville welcome Dak Hardwick, Aerospace Industries Association (AIA)  Assistant Vice President for International Affairs as Keynote Speaker for the 34th Annual World Trade Day Luncheon. Mr. Hardwick’s keynote address – The Dynamic Trade Environment – Global Competition & Cooperation – will highlight the current trade picture in Washington, the status of the Export-Import Bank, next steps in export control reform, projections for aerospace and defense spending, and predictions looking forward. During the luncheon, a regional company will also be recognized with the NAITA Global Trade Award for their success in the global marketplace.

Mr. Hardwick's primary responsibilities include international defense, space trade and export control reform issues. In addition, he oversees AIA’s role in bilateral and multilateral trade relationships in key regions, trade advocacy initiatives, and international cooperative programs.
