Even though Josh now spends a lot of his non-glassblowing time in front of a computer, long ago he taught himself how to make glass by studying actual books! With titles ranging from the fascinating Manual of ASTM Standards on Refractory Materials, to the succinctly named 1949 book, Glass, to his favorite, Agricola's De Re Metallica, written in Latin in 1556, Josh's library has always kept him engaged.
