The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is pleased to announce the 10th Annual UWM Teaching and Learning Symposium to be held virtually on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
We are now accepting proposals and are especially interested in sessions sharing how High-Impact Practices and/or their associated Eight Key Elements are embedded into teaching and learning at the department, program, or college level. Submit your proposal by Tuesday, 5 November 2024 at 4:30pm.

The staff of CETL would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Professor Sarah Riforgiate for her leadership and dedication to advancing teaching and learning as Interim Director of CETL. She oversaw the coordination of the 2024 IUT Conference as well as CETL's website redesign. Dr. Riforgiate's vision and commitment have significantly enriched our community, and we are grateful for the countless hours and passion she invested in advancing our mission. We thank her for her service.

The CETL Support Commons will be closed on Friday, October 4, 2024 while the CETL staff assist with the Student Success in the Classroom Summit and on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 for an all staff retreat.

Normal Office Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Our former workshop registration website, , will host its final event on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, and remain accessible until Friday, August 1, 2025. We encourage instructors to export their attendance data as the information is of value for CVs and performance evaluations and will no longer be available after August 1, 2025.
